| Activity 3:
Brainstorm of Toddler Questions
Set: Divide
students into groups of 3-4.
Task:
- Ask
students to brainstorm any additional questions they feel might be important
to parent of a toddler or child.
- Ask
students to write down their questions to share to the class. Allow
5 minutes to brainstorm.
Discussion:
-
Ask for 1 spokesperson of each group to share what questions their group
thought of.
- Make
a list on the board or overhead of additional questions from each group.
- Discuss
the importance of the baby sitter being thorough with the questions
to ensure they do not miss anything.
Possible Questions Students Brainstormed:
- Do the kids suffer
from Separation Anxiety?
- What do mom and
dad do when this occurs?
- Are any of the
kids a toddler who is toilet training?
- What is the family
routine to follow?
- Are there any problems
with bedwetting?
- Where is clean
bedding and underwear kept?
- Do the kids ever
have nightmares? What do you do to handle these?
- Do the kids get
scared going to bed? What do you do to comfort them?
